About
Backing growth across the East of England
East of England Investment Fund is a £42m fund managed by Beechbrook Capital LLP, backed by the British Business Bank, lending to ambitious small and medium-sized businesses in the East of England.
Who we are
Beechbrook Capital LLP is an FCA-regulated private credit manager that has funded growth businesses across the UK and Europe for more than a decade. EEIF is our first regional lending mandate and we run it from the same platform that administers our institutional funds.
Why the East of England
The British Business Bank identified the East of England as a region with strong SME demand for flexible debt capital but thinner coverage from traditional lenders. EEIF exists to help close that gap — with patient, growth-aligned finance that can sit alongside bank debt or act as a stand-alone facility.
How decisions are made
Every loan is reviewed by an experienced credit committee. We underwrite the business — its cashflow, customer concentration, and management team — rather than the security alone. If an application is a good fit, we aim to give indicative terms within two weeks and complete within six.
Next steps
The fastest way to see whether EEIF might suit your business is to contact the Eastmeare team. We can discuss your funding requirement and the next steps before you invest time in a full application.
